MPS Group Named GM Supplier of the Year
All of Soave Enterprises’ affiliates emphasize outstanding customer service and operational excellence. This spring, one such company was recognized by a major client for truly embracing this client-focused philosophy.
On April 29th, Detroit-based MPS Group was named General Motors’ Supplier of the Year 2006. Roderick Rickman, the company’s CEO, accepted the global award during a high profile ceremony at GM’s Warren Tech Center. GM Vice President for Purchasing Bo Anderson presented the award to Rickman for the facility management category.
“For more than a decade, we have supplied resource management services to General Motors throughout North America,” reports Rickman. “This award marks the second time we have been honored – MPS Group also won a Supplier of the Year Award in 2002.”
The entire company enjoyed the well-deserved recognition with a June 29 celebration at MPS’s corporate headquarters. David Dowdall, GM’s Director of Indirect Purchasing Worldwide, was on hand to share in the excitement and present the company’s individual award.
Gaining recognition on an international scale demonstrates that the company has truly accomplished its mission of providing “Best in Class” service.
