CITY Beverage-Bloomington Stirs Up Interest With The Budweiser Bistro

CITY Beverage-Bloomington brought the specialty promotion to local stores – two existing Wal-Mart locations in Bloomington, and new stores in Lincoln and Pontiac. Executive chefs from Anheuser-Busch’s headquarters in St. Louis prepared a variety of food samples that showcased Budweiser products as an ingredient.

“The stores’ customers, employees and managers were all delighted with the experience,” revealed Doug Whitaker, Team Leader at CITY Beverage. “More than 1,000 samples were distributed, along with almost 2,000 recipe cards for Budweiser-inspired dishes. Everyone was impressed by the Bistro team’s culinary skills and professionalism.”

As part of the promotion, Budweiser case displays surrounded and enhanced the Bistro’s kiosk. “The fabulous food and the visual impact drew a resoundingly positive response,” continued Whitaker. “This event highlights the relationships CITY Beverage strives to build with its clients. Our entire team, starting at the top with our General Manager John Caruso and National Accounts Manager Doug Jameson, understands the importance and value of building partnerships.”
