David Barnwell

Mr. Barnwell joined MPS Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2006. His principal responsibilities include financial and asset management, strategic planning, human resources, and information technology. Mr. Barnwell also handles purchasing and process improvement activities.
Following military service in Vietnam and graduation from Wayne State University, Mr. Barnwell earned his CPA certificate in Michigan. He then served as a CFO for seventeen years in the machine tool and robotics industry, holding two patents for improvements in manufacturing system technology. Mr. Barnwell also served as Chief Financial Officer for Henry Ford OptimEyes, where he was responsible for manufacturing, distribution, and fulfillment activities, in addition to his financial, human resource, and information technology duties.
Throughout his career Mr. Barnwell has undertaken leadership roles on the job and in the community, adding his talents to several industry trade association and non-profit boards. His experience and team approach will help maintain MPS Group as a flexible and resourceful partner in the global marketplace.
